L/A Community Little Theatre Postpones Masquerade Ball & Benefit Auction
AUBURN - After careful consideration, L/A Community Little Theatre's Board of Directors officially announced the postponement of its Masquerade Ball and Benefit Auction that was scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Ramada Conference Center.
The Masquerade Ball Committee has worked diligently to organize a unique celebration to kick off the theatre's 72nd Season and to celebrate the signing of a new lease for its long-time and permanent home in Auburn.
"A new date for this event will be determined as soon as the Board of Directors and Production Board review possible dates in early 2012," said CLT Board President, Daryel Duhaime, "The committee has worked very hard and we all want this to be a great success for CLT."
For decades, L/A Community Little Theatre has contributed much to communities throughout the area by providing quality entertainment to audiences, participating in community activities, and educating performers and technical and production crew members of all ages. It has often been the stepping-off place for young people who have gone on to work in various areas in the entertainment industry.
CLT's new season opens on November 4 with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, great for the whole family with special pricing for children 12 and under. A preview of auction items that will be available will be available at each performance. For information and tickets visit CLT's newly renovated website at www.laclt.com or call 783-0958.
