A Request from our Auction Coordinator,
Emily Flynn:
Dear Potential Donor,
CLT has begun to prepare for our 3rd annual Community Little Theatre “Not So Little” Online Auction, which is scheduled for late spring. Last year we raised over $6,700, which was critical to our COVID relief fundraising campaign. We are truly grateful for the generosity of our donors and auction participants. The auction has become one of the highlights of our year. The spirit, support, and hard work of our theatre community is on display in full force during this annual event, and friends of the theatre from all over the country are able to take part.
We are reaching out to ask if you would be willing to participate this year with a donation.! One of my favorite features of our auction is that our offerings are so diverse. Last year we offered boat cruises, gift certificates, lobster boils, golfing, kitchen appliances, homemade crafts, art, theater memorabilia, antiques, and the list goes on! We would be so grateful to have your support and in return we will promote you, your product, and/or your business on our auction site, our website, on Facebook, and in our email blasts and news letters. Additionally, all donors receive a pass for 2 free tickets to any future CLT show.
If you would prefer not to donate an item but would be interested in a monetary contribution, we would be pleased to promote you as an auction sponsor.
This year the proceeds from the auction will be put into our general building fund. Our facility is central to all that we do, and it requires constant maintenance in addition to a long list of improvements that must be made. We are waiting for numbers to improve and for significant progress in the distribution of the vaccine before we will be ready to open our doors again. We are hopeful that our first post-pandemic production is on the horizon, but in the meantime, we are not able to generate income from productions. Our fundraising efforts continue to be crucial to the viability of the theatre. Thank you so much for your willingness to take part and help keep the performing arts alive and well in Lewiston/Auburn.
