OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Community Little Theatre is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization whose mission is twofold:
1. We foster creativity and education by providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to engage, learn, and grow in the performing arts.
2. We provide our community with affordable, high quality entertainment in the performing arts.
OUR BLACK LIVES MATTER STATEMENT
Lewiston-Auburn’s Community Little Theatre has been a proud member of this community for over 80 years. We strive to represent ALL of our members and to
serve as a safe place for all that participate with us.
As such, we stand by the Black Community – and indeed all communities of color – against oppression and violence.
We also stand against any and all acts of racism and prejudice.
Our hearts are open and we wish to add our voices to those calling for the need for change. We pledge to do our part – particularly in raising awareness – to ensure that racism is not tolerated and that all members of society are treated equally with the expectation of justice for all.

OUR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVITY STATEMENT
Community Little Theater (CLT) is proud to be actively committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment for all patrons and members. CLT is dedicated to include involvement from all without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. We have created a safe space for everyone who joins us, where we foster a sense of belonging and where people can be their authentic selves without fear of retaliation or harassment from anyone. We believe that art can only be created in a safe space and that diversity and inclusivity are an integral part of making theater and to this end, we are committed to being inclusive to all in our community.
The DEI Committee believes that, in order to best serve the CLT community, we need to figure out where the biggest needs and issues are. We don't want to make assumptions about what does or doesn't need attention, so we are going right to the source — our community — to find out what to focus on! As such, we created this online survey asking people to share their experiences and opinions with us. This survey is anonymous, but should you wish to connect directly, you may reach out to our DEI team members Sarah Duncan (sarahmelissaduncan@gmail.com) and Germaine Robinson (renthead1991@gmail.com). Thank you!
